14 DAY CANCELLATION

IN THE EVENT OF A CANCELLATION UP TO 14 DAYS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED DATE OF ARRIVAL NO CHARGE WILL BE MADE.

IF YOU CANCEL THE RESERVATION FOR ANY REASON (INCLUDING COVID RELATED CANCELLATION) WITHIN 14 DAYS OF THE ARRIVAL DATE CANCELLATION CHARGES EQUIVALENT TO 50% OF THE TOTAL RESERVATION OR THE FIRST NIGHT WILL BE MADE, WHICH EVER IS GREATER.

GUESTS FAILING TO ARRIVE, WITHOUT PROVIDING 24 HOUR’S NOTICE, WILL CHARGED THE TOTAL PRICE OF THE RESERVATION.

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT TRAVEL INSURANCE IS TAKEN OUT TO COVER ANY CANCELLATION CHARGES.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING:

1.The Sunnyside reserves the right to charge the guest at any stage after the reservation is made

2. Currently we do not accept personal CREDIT card payments. Payment is accepted by debit card (chip and pin only) or cash on arrival. The card holder and card must be present. If you would like to pay by BACS please e-mail info@sunnysidesouthport.co.uk at least 14 days before arrival and we will forward further details.

3. Where a business credit or debit card is used a 5% transaction fee will be charged.

4. Please also note all cancellations or modifications must be made in writing, by email (to info@sunnysidesouthport.co.uk). Cancellations over the phone will not be accepted. Please also note we strongly advise people to take out the appropriate insurance package to cover any cancellation fees.

5. Check in time is any time after 14:00pm. If guests arrive before, we can offer to hold luggage at the Guest House. Check out time on the date of departure is 10:30am. If the room is not vacated by this time, the customer will be charged for an additional night stay. Equally we offer the service to guests where we can hold luggage after 10:30am until the end of the day on the date of departure.

6. Your booking is governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. The booking confirmation and these terms represent the entire agreement between the Sunnyside and you or your organisation.

7.You confirm that you have not entered into the contract with the Sunnyside on the basis of any representation not expressly incorporated into these documents.

8. You warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. All bookings are personal to you and may not be sold, assigned or otherwise transferred.

9. Sunnyside would advise customers that no refunds will be offered to customers and their party who are refused entry or ejected from the premises on account of late arrival, abusive, threatening, drunken or other antisocial behaviour (including smoking in the building), carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances and causing a disturbance. In this instance the customers booking and future bookings will be cancelled.

10. We offer only one free car parking space per room for the duration of the guests stay (we can’t accept vans, pick up trucks or other large vehicles). Parking will either be on site or in the street to the rear of the property with a parking permit. Please note cars are left on the car park or street at the owners risk and are bound by the terms and conditions of their own motor car insurance policy and not the establishments Insurance policy.

11. The guest, visitor, booker, business or organisation making the booking are jointly and severally liable any damage or loss caused to us or our our property by you or your parties act, omission, default or neglect and you agree to indemnify us and to pay us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss. Where a security deposit is paid, the damage is not limited to the amount taken as deposit.

12. Please check that the details of your reservation are complete and accurate before you confirm your reservation. Failure to supply full and accurate reservation details will result in your reservation being cancelled.

13. We reserve the right to verify your card detail at any time between the date of your reservation to the date of arrival. If there is insufficient funds to cover the total reservation amount or your card details are found to be invalid your reservation will be cancelled.

14. In the rare case that due to unforeseen circumstances we cannot deliver Your requested accommodation, you will be offered alternate accommodation or a full refund.

15. We are a strictly a no smoking establishment. Evidence of smoking within the property will incur a deep cleaning charge of no less than £200.00 and instant evection from the building without a refund.

16. By agreeing to these conditions, you confirm that you understand the policy and you are jointly and severally liable for any fines, damage and cleaning charges resulting from accidents, misuse or damage of or to the property.

17. We don’t accept stag or hen parties.
