Travel Choices and Their Impact on Your Carbon Footprint

The Marine Lake is a 5-minute walk from Sunnyside Guest House (PR9 0DP). Begin by turning right onto Bath Street, then right again onto Nevill Street. When you reach the Promenade head stright across to Funland and to the left you will see the Marine Lake.

Accessability Information

Marine Lake General: Getting around the Marine Lake and surrounding Kings Gardens should be relativly stright forward for wheelchair users and those with mobility issues.

Local charity Southport Access for Everyone have been working with the council to make the area more accessible. There are now ramps in the Sunken Garden and the Bowling Green, the four shelters round the curve of the lake are accessible, there is an accessible roundabout in the play area, rails on the hump of the Venetian bridge and a safety rail on the step outside the Tea Rooms.
