Ainsdale Discovery Centre Southport

You can find the Discovery Centre at Ainsdale adjacent to the beach. The Discovery Centre carries out educational activities from 4 year olds to A level students. The centre is open though the school holidays and organises many free activities for children as well as providing a free cycle loan service. It is open week days from 9:30am to 4:30pm and during some weekends.

The activities organised by Sefton Council’s coast and countryside team are advertised on the Sefton Coast Landscape Partnership Scheme facebook page. Activities include guided walks out into the dunes and the holiday club for children.
