Breakfast at the Sunnyside

Start your day with our delicious cooked breakfast, or choose from a selection of fresh fruit salad, a variety of cereals, including our popular homemade granola and muesli, along with homemade pastries, yogurts, and our home-msde jams,  marmalade and honey, freshly sourced from the Sunnyside beehive.

We are happy to accommodate special dietary requirements and offer dedicated gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan breakfast menus. If you have any dietary needs or allergies, please inform us before placing your order.

For faster service, we recommend pre-ordering your breakfast by 9 PM the night before. Morning orders are also welcome, though a limited menu will be available.

Full English Breakfast

  • Old English local butchers’ sausage
  • Local back bacon
  • Hash brown
  • Baked beans
  • Local fresh tomato
  • Mushrooms
  • Locally-farmed free range egg (fried, scrambled or poached)
  • Bury black pudding and fried bread also available upon request

Our large Full English comes with two sausages, two bacon and two hash browns. The small version comes with one sausage, one bacon and one hash brown.

Vegetarian or Vegan English Breakfast

  • Richmond plant-based sausage

Sausage or Bacon Sandwich

Old English butchers sausage or rindless back bacon served on a choice of white or wholemeal toast.

Locally-Farmed Free Range Eggs and Toast

A choice of scrambled, poached, pried or boiled, locally-farmed free range eggs served with white/wholemeal toast.

Grilled Manx Kipper Fillets

Grilled Manx kipper fillets in lemon juice served with a choice of white or brown toast and butter.

Scottish Organic Porridge

A bowl of piping hot creamy Scottish organic porridge.

Poached Eggs on Sourdough with homemade beet hummus

Poached eggs atop sourdough, paired with homemade beetroot hummus, avocado, spinach, and a sprinkle of seeds. A gluten-free option is also available.

Smoked Haddock with Poached Eggs

Smoked haddock in a butter sauce with a locally-farmed free range poached egg and fresh cooked tomato served with a choice of white or brown toast.

Home-made Pancakes

Home-made pancakes can be made to suit a plant-based or gluten-free diet and served with the following toppings:
