The Visit England Awards for Excellence is the epitome of recognition in the tourism and hospitality industry that celebrates the crème de la crème. To receive such an esteemed honor is beyond our wildest dreams. When we found ourselves competing against the winners from 16 regions, we were humbled to be among such incredible talent. The Visit England judging panel, composed of industry professionals, meticulously reviewed the applications, and truthfully, we didn’t anticipate hearing anything.
In the final round, we stood alongside two exceptional B&Bs: Pigletts Boutique, nestled in the pristine and untouched parts of the Essex countryside, and Cedar Manor, a luxurious 5-star B&B located in the breathtaking Lake District National Park. To be considered among the top three for the best B&B in the entire country is an absolute dream come true. Even now, we’re still in disbelief, constantly pinching ourselves to ensure it’s real. This achievement will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
