Traveling to the Sunnyside
Why not leave the car at home and take the train? If you travel to us using public transport we will try our best to provide early check in so you can relax in the room upon your arrival. Where this isn’t possible we can look after your bags until your room is ready to check in. If you are arriving early using public transport please let us know in advance so we can prepare the room for your arrival.
The train station is a little over 5 minutes walk away. When you arrive in Southport head out to Chapel Street which is the pedestrianized street at the front of the station. If you look across the street to your right you will see Hayes Travel located on London Street. Head towards it and go down London Street toward Lord Street. When you reach Lord Street go to the crossing to Nevill Street. When on Nevill Street take your second right onto Bath Street where you will find us half way down on at the junction with Bold Street.
If coming up on the train from the South, sometimes it works out quicker, and can be cheaper to come into Liverpool Lime Street and walk over to Liverpool Central station (a five minute walk) and get the train from Liverpool to Southport (40 minute journey). More information about the service that runs from Liverpool to Southport can be found on the Merseyrail Website.
